'Tis the Season for Graduation

Here is evidence of the unstoppable growth of all the kids, with links to pictures, of course.

 Wynn graduated from 8th grade.

 Ari graduated from preschool.

Andrew graduated from high school.

Not pictured:  Gabrian got a certificate for outstanding attendance, Conor for best vocabulary in his grade, and Cameron for academic excellence.

Swallows Park, 2012

We got to visit Eric and Denise over Memorial Day weekend.

The first evening, we played at a park on the Idaho side of the river.

The following day, we went walking at Swallows park

on the Washington side of the river.

Good springtime tradition.

Jr. Lilac Parade

It was a wonderful, beautiful sunny morning to go watch Conor in the Jr. Lilac parade and take a little walk around Riverfront Park. A beautiful day to eat outdoors at Red Robin, too.  (And still beautiful for the afternoon soccer game.)

Inexplicable

(Almost) every night, the dishwasher needs to be emptied at dinner time.  (Almost) every night, the dishwasher is re-loaded with all the dishes we can gather and run again.  Between completion of dinner at about 7:00 pm and the time the children leave for the bus at 7:00 am, this many dirty glasses are spread around again.  This is an average representation.
