Hottapot at Home

We had "Chinese Hot Pot" for dinner. It was a lot of work, but a hit with all of the kids, even with veggies in it! We used a basket to prevent the onions & spices in the broth from mixing with Cameron's portion. We will definitely be doing it again!

Rise and Shine!

This is how I start my day (note the windows- before daylight). OK, my smile is a little misleading. I was taking a moment to realize someday I'll want to remember when they were little and both wanted my lap. Misleadingly sweet, huh?

Easter With Nana And Gramps

We got stuff!

Ari really likes her glo-grub/light baby.

Easter bunny knew we didn't have a ball popper anymore.

Gramps and his first granddaughter.

Tried and tried to get a picture of her Easter dress, and didn't do well. I think Uncle Bop got a good one, though.

Brrrrr. . . Cold egg hunting.

Before the ears went numb, we became convinced we never, never want a piano!

I'll play with you, Dad!

Auntie and Eric are caught by the boys.

Swallows Park

Yesterday, we took a drive away from all the snow in our yard to Lewiston, where spring is beginning. It was about time that we saw Denise's new place since she moved there in September, and this was our first visit. (It's true. We don't get out much anymore.) After a stop at the bread outlet, we went over to Clarkston to one of the parks where we used to take Denise, and then Andrew, when they were little.

Starting off on bikes and wagon.

It's MY bread!!!

Auntie and Gabrian

Auntie and Ari (who would not smile).

Hey! Where're you going?!

Got a taker!
The first groups of birds we approached weren't interested.
After these, a large group of ducks, geese, and gulls gathered, and everyone got a turn.

It was inevitable that at least one boy would go in the water.
You can see from his pants that this wasn't the only time.

Conor lost his bread bag in the water and went in after it.

I want a helmet too!

A couple boys I know are too big for this playground equipment.

Just the right size for the playground.

Deep in thought?

Cameron was too tired to ride. He's had a cold and was wheezing. Mom pitched in bringing the bike back part of the way.

Crashed!

Headed home with a crowded wagon.
