The Rash

Gabrian has this rash on his face, arms, legs, & back. He has no other symptoms. No fever. No itching. No signs of discomfort. Hmmm. . . reminds me of this:

Looks a lot like a rash Cameron had at the end of January, 2004 with no other symptoms. . . Here we are going through the same steps. Pictured here is the bath, in case there was an irritant on his skin, followed by clean clothes in cash the irritant was in his clothes, and some Benadryl in case it was a histamine reaction. Gabrian has been through the same sequence. With Cameron, we also had a trip to Dr. Bennett, who said it was most likely a virus, and not to worry as there were no other symptoms. So I think we'll skip the doctor trip this time. It looks like Fifth Disease, I think; maybe they're just lucky that they both skipped all other symptoms.

Ariana has her First American Cold as well. She is a grumpy, unpleasant little gal with a never-ending nose-fountain. I was going to start her doctor visits this week (faxed the post-adoption forms to Dr. Bennett), but now, I won't. We also won't be visiting daycare with the two germy kids today. We do have Conor's basketball practice and Andrew's orientation to high school (no, we are NOT that old!) this evening.

Gabrian Loves Grapefruit

He wanted it. . . so we let him have it. Much to our surprise, he wanted more and more.

Too Much Thursday

. . . and too much mac 'n cheese, and too many potatoes, and too much pulled pork . . .

Spring Fever

No Coat weather. (I know it's not really spring; the snow is visible in the background. But we can see the picnic table again now, so it's time to start getting ready.)

A Classic Game: Laundry Basket Derby

But it's just no fun when your brothers go to school and your basket has no power.
