The ALICE Pack Can Carry Anything

The Alice pack, for the uninitiated, is "All-purpose Lightweight Individual Carrying Equipment." It is, of course, not as good as the MOLLE (Modular Lightweight Load-Carrying Equipment), but it is as much as Mom is willing to supply to carry books to and from school.

Breaking Out The Soft-Serve Machine

We pulled out the soft-serve ice cream maker. It's been put up for a long time. It required a lot of dusting.

Yep, that's duck tape holding the lid on tightly.

Even Ari decided they were pretty nice. In fact, she showed me one in a book this morning and said, "Buy it."
