I talked Ari into wearing something from her dress-up trunk for her school Halloween party because her Halloween costume is white - and I didn't want to have to try to clean it after a day at daycare. :) She was thrilled with the purple glitter- I mean fairy dust - I sprinkled on her cheeks.
Three of our five children have birthdays within days of each other. October is a month of birthday chaos.
Each child gets to celebrate his/her "little birthday," which is the calendar day of their birthday. They get treats for their class at school and get to pick a special birthday dinner. Ari took Dora popsicles to school and picked Basil Chicken ("Chicken and Baso") for dinner. Conor took jelly donuts to school and picked pizza for dinner. Gabrian took dixie cups to school and picked "pancakes, bacons, and eggs" for dinner.
Then, all in one weekend, we had a Barf Party (a hit with 10 & 11 year old boys) . . .
A princess party (DQ ice cream cake, yum). . .
And and Indiana Jones/Adventurer party!
The shirt is playable - and loud!
Conor's party was at the YMCA.
His favorite gift - an e-reader from G'ma and G'pa.
(I think I know what's gonna be on Andrew and Cameron's Christmas list!)
Gabrian and Ari had their party in the hamster tubes at a McDonald's playland.
A 4-wheeler, a raincoat, drivin' in the rain. All he needs is to sling a rifle over his shoulder, and he's ready for deer season!
